Chris Rock might be hosting the 88th Academy Awards, but that’s not stopping him from taking an expected shot at the Oscars for failing to nominated any black actors.

The comedian posted a new 15-second commercial for the ceremony on Twitter, where he counted down the top three reasons to tune in. But it was his caption that earned the most attention. He wrote, “The #Oscars. The White BET Awards.”

As previously noted, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences failed to nominate a black or non-white actor for the second consecutive year. The Academy also failed to nominate a black director.

Straight Outta Compton was nominated for Best Original Screenplay, but all four credited writers are white. Creed earned a nomination for Best Supporting Actor for Sylvester Stallone’s performance as Rocky Balboa. Will Smith was expected to be in contention for Best Actor thanks to Concussion, but he was shut out.

The Oscars are on Feb. 28 and will air on ABC. You can check out the list of nominees here and our reviews of nominees here.
