Netflix will reportedly give comic book fans who can only do one thing per weekend one heck of a conundrum. The second season of Daredevil might be posted on Netflix on March 25...the same exact day Warner Bros.’ Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice opens in theaters.
ComicBook.com first reported the date and Netflix has yet to confirm it. However, Movie Pilot did point out earlier today that Entertainment Weekly revealed in its 2016 preview issue that the new season will go live in March.
The new season promises to be just as dark as season one and will introduce The Punisher (Jon Bernthal) and Elektra (Elodie Yung) to the Marvel TV universe. Charlie Cox is also returning to play Daredevil/Matt Murdock and Deborah Ann Woll is back as Karen. Elden Henson plays Foggy Nelson.
The first season of Daredevil earned plenty of acclaim, so everyone will want to check out season two as soon as possible. That will be a bit difficult if this date is true, since Batman v Superman is also a hot ticket.
