There isn’t much Donald Trump will not comment on and now he has taken aim at the NFL calling it “soft" like our country.

Jenna Johnson of the Washington Post noted that the Republican presidential frontrunner made the comparison between the way the games are played nowadays and our country while speaking at a campaign rally in Nevada on Sunday.

“Football has become soft,” Trump said after watching the postseason play a day earlier. "It’s a Sunday who wants to watch these crummy games?”

He added that he believes the whole game is “screwed up” as all the hits the sport used to include are now considered violent.

Some may agree that he has a point since it is hard not to notice a bit of excessive flag throwing by the referees this season. On the other hand though, the league has been under fire for concussions and is trying to minimize hits that cause head injuries.

Trump summed up his football talk by saying that although he feels the entire game has gone “soft” he still loves his pal Tom Brady.
