Drake Bell has been officially charged with a misdemeanor DUI following last month’s arrest and the actor and musician now faces jail time since this is his second one.
Bell was arrested late last month in Glendale, California after being pulled over for speeding and swerving after he stopped for a red light. He also refused a blood alcohol test on the scene when his arresting officer smelled alcohol on his breath.
According to TMZ, since Bell, 29, was also arrested on a DUI charge seven years ago, he faces harsher repercussions than first-time offenders. He’s currently looking at getting his license suspended and spending at least four days in jail.
Bell will be touring next month starting on Feb. 5 in Mexico on his Ready Steady Go! tour. He’s best known for his Nickelodeon show Drake and Josh with his co-star Josh Peck.
