John Krasinski can soon be seen in 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi, but not everyone in his life is in support of his ripped new body. Wife Emily Blunt, misses the days when her husband was a bit more "doughy."
During an appearance on The Late Show Stephen Colbert, Krasinski opened up about how he met his now wife and that she isn't fully on board with his new workouts.
The Office star went through intense training and workout for his role in Benghazi, he was trained by CIA contractor Jack Da Silva.
"It's real work, too," explained Krasinski. "I thought it would be like, 'Yeah, let's eat a couple Power Bars and do push-ups.' And he was like, 'No. It's going to be a living hell for six to eight weeks. 'I couldn't do one pull-up. I was like, 'How hard are these pull-ups, really?'"
When asked about how his wife Emily Blunt reacted to his physical transformation, Krasinski said she didn't take it too well.
"She hates it. She would way prefer to have doughy guy back."
13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi will be released on Jan. 15.
