The nominations for the 2016 Razzie Awards were announced this morning, with Adam Sandler movies once again earning several slots. Fifty Shades of Grey was also a top nominee, along with the comic book bomb Fantastic Four.

Fifty Shades of Grey might have dethroned Sandler this year if he hadn’t starred in so many movies. Pixels and The Cobbler (which was directed by Spotlight’s Tom McCarthy) both earned several nominations.

Pixels is up for Worst Picture; Worst Actor (Adam Sandler, also nominated for The Cobbler); Worst Supporting Actor (Josh Gad, also nominated for The Wedding Ringer, and Kevin James); Worst Supporting Actress (Michelle Monaghan); and Worst Screenplay. In addition to its nomination for Sandler’s performance, The Cobbler was nominated for Worst Screen Combo (Sandler and pairs of shoes).

Fifty Shades earned a “stunning” six nominations: Worst Picture; Worst Actor (Jamie Dornan); Worst Actress (Dakota Johnson); Worst Screen Combo (Johnson & Dornan); Worst Director (Sam Taylor-Johnson); and Worst Screenplay.

The nominees were also filled with several jokes. Alan Smithee, the infamous name once used by directors after disowning their films, was mentioned in Josh Trank’s nomination for Worst Director for Fantastic Four. Kevin James’ possibly glued-on mustache in Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2 shared a nomination with James for Worst Screen Combo. Kaley Cuoco’s voice role in Alvin & The Chipmunks: The Roach Chip was cited in her nomination for Worst Supporting Actress for The Wedding Ringer.
