Fox has Janet and Brad for its TV remake of The Rocky Horror Picture Show, which will star Orange is the New Black’s Laverne Cox.

Victoria Justice (Victoria) will play Janet, the role Susan Sarandon had in the beloved 1975 film. Ryan McCartan (Liv & Maddie, Heathers the Musical) is Brad, who was played by Barry Bostwick in the film.

Reeve Carney (Penny Dreadful) also joined to play Riff Raff (Richard O’Brien in the film). Staz Nair is Rocky, Dr. Frank-N-Furter’s creation.

Cox joined the project in October and will play Dr. Frank-N-Furter. News of the project first surfaced in April and will not be a live production, unlike other recent TV musicals.

Fox’s Rocky Horror will be executive produced by Lou Adler, Gail Berman and High School Musical’s Kenny Ortega. The musical will run two hours and will be shot this winter. It will air during the fall 2016 season.

While Rocky Horror won’t be live, Fox is still jumping into the live TV musical realm, which was previously only occupied by NBC, on Jan. 31 with Grease Live!. On March 20, Fox will air The Passion, live from New Orleans with Tyler Perry hosting.
