Gravity Falls is coming to an end next month, but it didn't take long for the show's creator to find himself another gig.

According to Variety, Alex Hirsch has landed a deal to write a new animated pilot for Fox. So far, details of this show are being kept as mysterious as something in the woods behind Grunkle Stan's mystery shack, but Hirsch told Variety that he's "cooking up some brand new weirdness."

Gravity Falls wraps up its two season run on Disney XD in February. The show, which follows two siblings spending their summer vacation in a mysterious town, has developed a huge cult following online due to its abundance of clues and foreshadowing placed throughout each episode. Its midseason premiere last July drew Disney XD's its biggest live audience ever.

Back in November, it was announced that this second season of Gravity Falls would be its last. The show was not cancelled by Disney, but rather Hirsch himself decided to end it so as to go out on a high note.

“This is 100% my choice, and its something I decided on a very long time ago,” he said at the time. “I always designed Gravity Falls to be a finite series about one epic summer- a series with a beginning, middle, and end."

Gravity Falls' final episode airs on Disney XD on Feb. 15.
