A judge in Pennsylvania threw out a defamation case against Bill Cosby on Thursday; giving a small victory to the disgraced comedian who has been accused of sexual assault by dozens of women.

UPI reported that Judge Arthur J. Schwab dismissed three claims against Cosby brought on by accuser Renita Hill because her claims do not fit the definition of defamation in the Pennsylvania.

TMZ noted that Hill alleged Cosby drugged and assaulted her when she worked with him on the show “Picture Pages” and that his lawyers made her out to be a “liar” after she made the accusations. Judge Schwab concluded that what was said by Cosby’s team were opinions, not defamatory statements.

The judge also ruled that Hill may not amend the case and file again. Her lawyer said he plans to appeal the ruling.

A separate defamation case against Cosby has been filed in the Massachusetts.

The 78-year-old is accused of drugging and sexually assaulting dozens of women, many of who came forward for the first time last year.
