It appears Lamar Odom won’t be facing any legal repercussions for his life altering stay at Nevada’s legal brothel, the Love Ranch.
Odom had drugs in his system at the time of his overdose in October, but the Nye County D.A. has decided against filing any charges against him for testing positive.
TMZ reports the D.A. will reject the case formally sometime this week.
Odom was being treated for various medical issues since being found unresponsive in the brothel on Oct. 13 and he was only discharged from the hospital last week. He’s currently continuing his journey to make a full recovery in rehab.
“Lamar continues to make remarkable strides and we are asking that you continue to respect our privacy,” Odom's aunt, JeNean Mercer, said in a statement upon his release.
Although Odom did test positive for having cocaine in his system, it’s reported prosecutors don’t usually charge overdose patients who need medical attention. Odom’s case was pretty severe, spending three months in the hospital recovering.
