Good things continue to happen for Miley Cyrus. First her engagement is back on, then she moved back in with Liam Hemsworth, and now she is set to star in Woody Allen's Amazon series.
Cyrus' reps confirmed to E! News that she will star in the six-episode series alongside Woody Allen and Elaine May, which has no title or release date. However, the series is set to begin filming this March.
Not much is known about the show, except that it will be taking place in the 1960s and that Allen will write, direct and will even have an on-screen role.
Cyrus took a time out from acting back in 2012 when she decided to focus on her music and the October 2013 release of her album Bangerz. Since then, the singer released Miley Cyrus and her Dead Petz through her website MileyCyrus.com.
The "Wrecking Ball" singer's last on-screen acting moments were on Saturday Night Live when she hosted during season 41 in the sketches 'Hilary Clinton Bar Talk,' 'Katz' Deli' and 'The Squad.'
However, that doesn't make her a stranger to acting on the big or small screen. Who could forget her extremely popular Disney series Hannah Montana? Or her film The Last Song from 2010, where she met fiance Liam Hemsworth.
