Over two years after breaking off their engagement, singer Miley Cyrus and The Hunger Game actor Liam Hemsworth are officially engaged again.
The young couple split in September 2013, when Cyrus was just 20 and Hemsworth was 23. But rumors started earlier this month that they were suddenly back on again.
They were spotted getting cozy at an event in Australia. Hemsworth’s brothers, Chris and Luke, were also there with their wives. The couple reportedly also spent New Year’s Eve together and Cyru has been seen wearing the engagement ring Hemsworth gave her in 2012. The two had been dating since 2009.
Several sources told E! News and People Magazine that the two aren’t just back together, but are also engaged.
“Miley is beyond happy to be engaged to Liam again,” a source told People. “It might seem sudden, but they have been very close for the past few months.”
Us Weekly, which first reported on the engagement news, also reports that they are even living together.
“She's moving back in with him and bringing her dogs,” a source told Us Weekly. “She has always loved him.”
Cyrus recently released Miley Cyrus & Her Dead Pets, while Hemsworth will next be seen in Independence Day: Resurgence.
