NBC ordered a batch of comedy pilots on Thursday, including one that should intrigue DC Comics fans. The network has ordered a workplace comedy pilot called Powerless, which is set in the same universe as Batman and Superman.

News of the Warner Bros. TV project first surfaced in August. It was created by Ben Queen (A To Z, Cars 2) and is set at an insurance company in the DC universe. Batman and Superman aren’t expected to be involved, but some lesser-known DC heroes will make cameos.

This is some good news for DC Comics TV shows, just after TNT announced that it won’t go forward with Titans.

If Powerless makes to air, it will be the second DC Comics show for the peacock. The network aired Constantine, although it was cancelled after its freshman season.

Variety reports that NBC has also ordered Marlon, a pilot based on Marlon Wayans’ life. Untitled Matt Hubbard Project is based on the titular 30 Rock writer’s life. The fourth pilot is the Tina Fey-produced Untitled Tracey Wigfield Project, which is about a woman whose mother takes an internship at her office.
