Three pilots for comedies have been ordered by NBC and two of these projects come from Rashida Jones and Amy Poehler.

According to Variety, Poehler’s pilot is one she is co-executive producing with Charlie Grandy about a man named Karl who comes home in order to go into competition with his brother, despite being a “black sheep” for all the partying he used to do.

For her part, Jones will be an executive producer for the pilot Good Fortune, which follows the life of a woman who thrives on structure until she begins seeking advice from a fortune teller.

Another pilot ordered by NBC is one called The Trail, which focuses on a lawyer in the middle of a murder trial, as well as his defense team.

The news comes after NBC already picked up two pilots for drama. With these three new comedy pilots, there are now nine pilots that are vying for a spot for the 2016-17 television schedule.

In addition, NBC is also developing a fourth Chicago Series with Chicago Law and they released the premiere dates for their spring 2016 shows.
