NBC announced a slate of spring premiere dates today, including the return for the surprise summer comedy hit The Carmichael Show.
Starring comedian Jerrod Carmichael, the show was surprisingly renewed in September after a short freshman season run in August. The Carmichael Show, which also features David Alan Grier as Carmichael’s father, will air regularly on Sundays, starting March 13 at 9 p.m. However, a special preview episode will air on Tuesday, March 8 at 10:30 p.m.
The comedy Crowded, which stars Patrick Warburton and Martina Preston, will air regularly on Sundays beginning on March 20 at 9:30 p.m. A preview episode will air on Tuesday, March 15 at 10 p.m. after an episode of The Voice.
Heartbeat, the long-delayed medical drama starring Melissa George, will finally debut on Tuesday, March 22 at 9 p.m. before moving to Wednesdays at 8 p.m. the next day. The show was originally called Heartbreaker and was delayed over the summer due to George’s pregnancy.
Game of Silence is a new drama with David Lyons and Claire Van Der Boom and will debut on Thursday, April 7 at 10 p.m. That’s the same slot currently owned by Jennifer Lopez’s Shades of Blue, which has been doing well for the peacock so far.
