Netflix has renewed their Marvel series Jessica Jones.
According to Entertainment Weekly, the news was confirmed by the network at the Television Critics Association press tour.
Just like its first season, the second season will consist of 13 episodes. Showrunner Melissa Rosenberg will once again helm the series, although no premiere date has been set.
Starring Krysten Ritter as Jones, the series focuses on a private investigator from Hell’s Kitchen who has super strength. The first season made its debut on Nov. 20.
Last week, NBC executive Alan Wurtzel revealed the ratings for the series in an attempt to show that streaming would have some time to catch up to broadcast networks when it comes to viewership.
Their data revealed Jessica Jones had just 4.8 million viewers within the 18-59 demographic. However, this was only data from media monitoring firm Symphony Advanced Media.
