Coldplay has already been announced as the official performers of the Super Bowl halftime show this year, and now it’s confirmed Beyonce will join them.
Beyonce headlined the show in 2013 at the Superdome in New Orleans, where her Destiny’s Child group members joined her onstage for a reunion.
Pepsi has confirmed Beyonce’s performance to The AP.
It’s not known how involved Beyonce will be in Coldplay’s performance, but it’s speculated they will sing their A Head Full of Dreams collaboration “Hymn For The Weekend.”
Almost immediately after Coldplay was rumored to take the sage at the halftime show this year, it was also rumored both Beyonce and Bruno Mars (both past headliners) would join them. When Mars headlined, he brought out the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
