Members of a special needs group in New Jersey have created a delightful video asking singer Bruno Mars to perform at their prom.

SNJ noted that the video invite titled, “Bruno Mars: Your Invitation to Fantastic Friends Prom,” was put together by members and volunteers of the organization and features Mars’ hit song “Uptown Funk.”

In the video clip the group sings, “This one’s for Bruno Mars, for your handsome face and funky beat. We would like to invite you to prom to be our performer the whole night long.”

CBS reported that Marissa Hacker is the founder of Fantastic Friends. Her twin brother has autism and she started the non-profit organization when they were just 15 years old.

“Bruno is such a loving and passionate person, which emanates through the energy in his music,” Hacker said. “Having him at the prom will create such a magical and beautiful night for our hundreds of members with special needs and volunteers. His attendance will give a party of a lifetime for people with special needs and also increase awareness for making our world a more inclusive and accommodating place.”

The prom is scheduled for June 17.

So Mr. Mars, your “promposal” is awaiting a response.
