This week's episode of Teen Wolf was all about redemption of relationships. Last week, we watched the pack forgive one another or at least make the first steps in that direction. The next step is figuring out how to accept each other and live with each other’s past digressions as a pack.

The episode begins with Kira facing these unknown Skinwalkers. Kira is trying to figure out how to control the homicidal fox that lives within her. It’s revealed that the Skinwalkers are originally enemies to the kitsune. However, Kira learns they are not so different from one another. The Skinwalkers declare that Kira must fight them and past there tests or else she has to become one of them. Heavy declaration.

Meanwhile, Scott and Stiles are getting ready for a road trip in order to find and save Kira. At Scott’s house, Liam attempts to apologize and offer his help, except he doesn’t actually declare that he’s sorry for trying to kill Scott. And even though Scott is committed to getting the pack back together, he’s not ready to make amends with Liam and tells him to sit back and do nothing. This is harder for Liam then it sounds.

Theo is currently searching for the beast in order to figure out anything to help him have an upper hand. Theo comes face to face with the Dread Doctors and Theo lets out a clue that something may have gone wrong with his crossover when becoming chimera because he cannot become an Alpha.

More is revealed that the beast is in a state of obedience to the Dread Doctors. So much so that the beast may be unaware that he or she is a teenager by day.

While on the road trip, Scott and Stiles discover that this unknown beast could be a killer from centuries ago that was considered a demon tailor. He would lure children to his shop and then kill them. The Romans considered this act so unspeakable that they destroyed all the records from history that retold the story. If this murderer turned into a werewolf that would make him an even more murderous demon.

At school, Liam is torn between his rage mixed with his feelings for Hayden and Scott’s request to do nothing. Instead Mason makes his move on Corey, and whether or not it’s to find out information Corey pronounces his feelings, which Mason reciprocates. Mason is torn because he believes Theo to be a bad guy and apart of the enemy. Corey tries to inform him that they are all on the same side against the Dread Doctors, which is surviving.

Back on the road, Scott divulges to Stiles that Malia is still looking for her mother. He believes she’s working with Braydon and that they plan to kill the Desert Wolf. Stiles isn’t surprised and knows there’s nothing he can do to stop her.

Lydia is still at Eichen House while in a catatonic state, working with Meredith to focus her scream in order to use it as a weapon. She sees a vision of a sign that tells her not only will all of her friends die but also possibly the whole school/town. She lets out a scream when she see’s Theo slash Meredith’s neck, hinting that Theo is still one of the bad guys. Most importantly though, Lydia’s nurses hear this scream even though she’s still withdrawn from reality and there is no sign that she moved.

Just to show how good Scott and Stiles are, when they run out of gas on the road and find an abandon gas station they leave twenty dollars for the gas they take, rather then just taking it. Stiles reveals more about how Daemon died and Scott reassures him that he knows the difference between self-defense and killing someone, so he didn’t break the pack’s sacred rule of not killing. Scott confesses that he blames himself for the blood that’s been spilled. He feels he’s the one that forces the pack to protect strangers and these are the consequences. Scott wishes he was the one that these things happen to but knows he can’t change the past.

Malia finally makes an appearance at the animal hospital, desperately searching through Deacon’s office for clues of his whereabouts. Theo shows up and it’s hard to tell why he’s there. He simultaneously pisses her off, flirts with her, and offers his help to find the Desert Wolf, with the resources of the Dread Doctors.

In the desert, Kira is put to the test by the Skinwalkers. She fights a battle against an Oni. It seems like she may be defeated but her inner fox appears and abolishes the Oni. Right when Kira returns to her mother and believes she’s passed the test and finally controlled her inner fox the Skinwalkers tell her otherwise. They begin their attempt to claim her but Kira’s mother steps in to protect her. Then Scott and Stiles arrive in the nick of time to save them and just escape in Stiles’ jeep. Kira is so overcome with the recue that she’s already making out with Scott and confesses her love for him.

To close the episode Mason and Liam reveal to Scott what they found out from Corey: Theo is looking for a blind alpha aka Deucalion.

This episode left us with a lot of questions that need to be answered. Will Malia accept Theo’s help and potentially the Dread Doctors? Will Lydia be able to wake up and save the pack? Did the pack just form a new enemy: the Skinwalkers? Will Scott forgive and accept Liam back into the pack? Who is this beast? What’s the Dread Doctors plan for the beast? Only time will tell.
