NCIS: Los Angeles saw the reappearance of Kensi’s ex-fiance, Jack, who was last seen when Kensi was sent on a mission to kill him, until she figured out who her target was and they were captured. He is in danger since he was an acquaintance of Sy Riggs, who took accounts of historical sites in villages located in Afghanistan and kept a list of antiquities, as well as other information. The team finds the shooter, but also find that a man named Ahmed Salib is likely behind the hit so he can get to Jack to get the list.
Meanwhile, Kensi and Deeks announce to the team they are moving in together, although Callen and Sam don’t seem surprised while Eric shows his enthusiasm. Since Jack’s appearance, Deeks knows Kensi still has some things she needs to talk to Jack about and supports her as she deals with her feelings. He also has some moments with Jack as they discuss his new relationship and Deeks reveals he still has nightmares about actions he took to save Kensi in Afghanistan.
This was a nice way to finish off the loose ends between Jack and Kensi as she moved forward in her relationship with Deeks. They not only continue to do great in the field together, but don’t let their relationship affect their work, especially when Kensi is in danger at one point.
