Vin Diesel has just dropped the first official poster for the next Fast and Furious film.

The actor posted the photo on Instagram, which teases a possible New York City setting and reveals the title: Fast 8. We also have a tagline referencing the fact that there's still a future for this franchise: "New roads ahead."

Though New York City is featured on the poster, Variety reported that Universal was considering shooting part of the movie in Cuba. This would be the first major studio film to shoot in that country, although the filmmakers are still exploring their options.

Although lead actor Paul Walker tragically died in 2013, it appears the franchise will continue for many more movies without his involvement. Universal Pictures chairman Donna Langley recently said that she expected there to be at least ten Fast and Furious movies total.

"Paul [Walker] is, and always will be, an integral part of the story," she said. "But there are many other great characters, and it's also an opportunity to introduce new characters. I think it's still a growing franchise."

It's hard to blame Universal for wanting more of these films, as the most recent installment, Furious 7, is currently the sixth highest grossing movie of all time, grossing $1.5 billion worldwide. Each sequel has been even more successful than the last, with the fifth, six and seventh doing far better than the first four.

Fast 8 hits theaters on April 14, 2017. It will be directed by F. Gary Gray (Straight Outta Compton).
