This week on Workaholics, Blake and Jillian became incredibly horrible parents to a cat that Jillian saved from the dumpster outside TelAmeriCorp. The two agree to raise the dumpster cat together, throwing out names like Dumpster, Bonnie, Chastity, but settling on Denny's because the cat perks its head up when they decide that's where they're getting lunch from.

While Blake is busy making a bed for Denny's out of a cardboard box, rulers, and office supplies Adam and Ders are trying to find new ways to pick up girls. Adam's bright idea is being straight forward with them and going in with the surprise kiss, while Blake is only going to go for classy ladies, and decides to make an intricate wine funnel to lure them back to the house.

Not so surprisingly their new pick up tricks don't work but Blake is rather successful with the ladies by showing them pictures of Denny's. He even starts telling people "Did I rescue her or did she rescue me." Der's ceases the opportunity and invites them all back to the apartment to meet the cat and enjoy some "brose mangria."

Jillian isn't happy when the guys bring the whores back while her and Denny's are asleep. She's also mad that Blake left her and Denny's alone on their first night home as a family, and starts throwing everything in the cabinets onto the floor. The two's screaming and bickering and throwing of "the nice plastic" wakes the cat, and makes the whores uncomfortable so they leave. Jillian also leaves along with the cat and divorces Blake as her cat daddy.

The two come to an agreement at work to have a joint custody of Denny's, Blake gets her on the weekend, and Jillian during the week. The only issue is that Adam and Ders are throwing a party this weekend, where Adam plans on unveiling his new pet because he now saw from Blake that pets get girls. While Ders opts for hating animals to pick up girls.

Adam debuts his pet falcon Beth that he found on Amazon Prime that poops on all the guests on her flight to the kitchen. Ders finds an animal hater who will only sleep with him if he assists her in killing Denny's.

Blake accidentally gives Denny's a bag of weed instead of cat nip when he puts her to sleep, and the guys smoke the cat nip thinking it's weed. Jillian comes to the rescue forcing the cat to throw up, and brings her back to her home for good. Der's animal hater turns out to be an undercover animal lover who has been recording him the entire night and exposes him to all the guests, who then leave in disgust.

The guys then decide they're going to break into Jillian's house and steal the cat back. hey make paw prints to make it look as if the cat ran away, and then in comes Beth through the window and starts eating Denny's.

To make things right, Blake, Ders, and Adam go to apologize to Jillian at work the next day and Jillian confesses what actually happened. On the way home from the guy's house Jillian slammed on her breaks and Denny's hit the windshield and died on impact. She was going to bury the cat but then heard a screech in the middle of the night and saw the paw prints outside the window, and came to the conclusion that a young griffon broke into her house and ate the corpse.

To reconcile their differences Jillian and Blake have a proper burial for Denny's together, putting her in a shoe box and throwing her back in the dumpster where their journey as a family began.
