While Adele usually sounds perfect, sound problems plagued her performance of “All I Ask” during the Grammys on Feb. 15. She clarified what happened on Twitter, assuring fans that there was nothing wrong with her voice.

The singer sent out two tweets after the show, first saying that one of the piano microphones fell onto the strings, creating an out of tune guitar sound. “Shit happens,” she wrote.

Adele persevered, though, and completed the emotional performance of one of the ballads from 25. After the show, she said she decided to treat herself to an In-N-Out burger. “So maybe it was worth it,” she said with her trademark sense of humor.

Unfortunately, Adele’s performance wasn’t the only one that audiences at home struggled with. Throughout the entire broadcast, there were audio glitches. Recording Academy president Neil Portnow took responsibility for the issue in an interview with Variety after the show.

“To Adele’s credit, she killed it, she did a fantastic job, the pro that she is,” Portnow told the site. “That was all an issue on our behalf. Kenny (Ehrlich) asked that we make that really clear to everybody.”
