Zoolander 2 star Ben Stiller now has a Guinness World Record for the longest selfie stick ever.
Yes, there is such a record for this and yes the actor set it when he snapped an aerial photo of himself, several celebrities and fans with a 28-foot, 1-inch stick at the movie’s London premiere. According to Guinness, that stick was a long window-cleaning pole, which Stiller has to balance in the wind as he held it up for the shot.
The Los Angeles Times noted that the pole Stiller used to snap the picture is more than eight times the size of a standard selfie stick.
Other famous faces featured in the shot included Owen Wilson, Penelope Cruz, Kristen Wiig, Will Ferrell and co-writer Justin Theroux.
Later, Paramount Pictures shared on its Twitter how the photo came out writing, “Record breaking: #Zoolander2 snaps world record with the longest selfie stick ever made.”
Stiller also took to Twitter and gave us one simple sentence about how it was to actually take the pic.
