Sunday evening will likely be the biggest and perhaps last game of Peyton Manning storied NFL career. Now, however, just two days until Super Bowl 50 a consultant hired by the signal caller is confirming that a shipment from the anti-aging clinic was sent to the athlete’s home; fueling recent Human Growth Hormone accusations.
After Al Jazeera made the HGH claims last month through a documentary, the Denver Broncos quarterback and most of America dismissed the claims. As we previously reported, Manning himself called the accusations “complete garbage” and that it was “totally made up.” What we didn’t know is that the NFL star’s lawyers launched an investigation into the allegations prior to the air date.
According to the Washington Post, one person said part of Al Jazeera’s claims bear some truth in that a substance was sent to Manning’s home under his wife’s name in 2011.
Ari Fleischer, the former White House press secretary and current crisis-management consultant hired by the quarterback, said medicine was shipped to his house but under Ashley Manning’s name. He would not give any other information or confirm if it was in fact HGH citing her privacy.
Charles Sly, an intern for the clinic who first made the allegations about Manning and several other athletes, has recanted his claims made to Al Jazeera.
