Super Bowl 50 is almost here and while both teams are getting ready to take the field, advertisers around the world are gearing up for one of the biggest events in marketing. This year many highly-anticipated movies will be using that precious ad time to reach a massive audience.

New footage for films like, Deadpool, X-Men: Apocalypse, Independence Day Resurgence and the upcoming Bourne project, are likely going to be released during the Super Bowl. The first trailer for the upcoming Matt Damon helmed Bourne 5 will be released and the title is going to be announced during the big game.

Many films are planning events extending outside of advertising time. Deadpool is planning to have a massive presence throughout all things Super Bowl. A new TV ad will be shown and Ryan Reynolds is going to be handing out chimichangas from a food truck before the game, The Hollywood Reporter noted.

Disney is also planning on getting in on the Super Bowl advertising action. While it isn't clear which movies will be promoted, their slate includes features like The Jungle Book (April 15) and Captain America: Civil War (May 6). Disney also has Rogue One: A Star Wars Story being released in December.

The biggest question remains if Warner Bros will be promoting Batman v Superman, one of their largest projects, which will hit theaters on March 25.
