It turns out Liam Neeson was joking around about saying he was dating a famous woman in a new interview, during which he talked about moving on from his late wife Natasha Richardson.
As we previously reported, Neeson sparked some interest when he told The Independent he was dating an “incredibly famous” woman, but he didn’t want to “embarrass her” by announcing who it was. The actor has since made it easy for us after scratching our heads to figure out who it could be.
Neeson’s rep has now denied he’s dating anyone famous, telling People he was only “joking” around with the journalist.
“He was joking with an Irish journalist while conducting an interview promoting a documentary, and the humorous tone of that statement did not translate in the printed version of the interview,” said his rep.
