On this week’s iZombie, Ravi and Major unearth a major discovery.
Ravi and Major dig for the two dead drug dealers who were buried full of tainted Utopium. Major finds a body, but it’s too fresh. They tell Clive that they were geocaching and found the body. Liv finds a coaster with a phone number buried with the body.
The coaster number leads to a woman whom they call in to identify the body. She tells them she hooked up with him a couple of months ago, but he never called her again. She met him at a bar. She says he was an FBI agent. Clive says he’ll ask Bozzio.
Ravi tells Liv that whoever murdered their current victim also probably shot the two men they’ve been digging for, since they were found in the same field. He suggests that the killer might be able to tell them where the bodies are buried. Liv eats the victim’s brain, thinking FBI attributes could help.
Clive and Liv go to the bar where their victim met his hookup. Clive tells Liv that Bozzio has never heard of the victim; he’s not FBI. Liv makes up a lie that she used to be a dancing bartender. The real bartender tells them that the victim was known as Big Fish because he was always telling whoppers--he was a pathological liar. His real name is Cory Carp. He’d tell women anything to get them into bed. She says he worked for the company that provided their arcade games. Clive notices that the address on the back of the game machines is the same as Mr. Boss’ warehouse.
Blaine’s abusive nanny is called in for the reading of his father’s will. Blaine’s father leaves her everything in the event that he dies from foul play.
Don E calls Blaine to the basement to give him a present. It’s Major tied up in a body bag. Don E figured out he’s the chaos killer. Blaine puts him in a coffin and accuses him of taking out his customers. He gives him the choice to die from a bullet to the heart or by turning him into a zombie and burying him in a box. He wants information. Major tells him he was given a list of potential zombies but won’t tell him from whom. They close him up in the coffin until he’ll give them more information.
Ravi made several clones of New Hope to test the cure once he has the tainted Utopium.
Clive and Bozzio are convinced that Blaine is the chaos killer. Blaine keeps mocking their surveillance van.
Clive found Cory’s luxury sedan in the impound lot. The wheel well was full of hidden quarters. Clive thinks he was skimming from Mr. Boss’ business.
Major tells Blaine that his customers aren’t dead; he’s been freezing the bodies. Blaine lets him out of the coffin. Major peeks out the window at the surveillance van. Blaine tells him he has to leave in the back of a hearse so they don’t see him. He threatens Liv if Major doesn’t bring his father back quickly.
Clive confronts Ravi about Liv taking on the traits of their murder victims. Ravi denies knowledge. Clive is upset because she’s lying to him with this victim. Liv comes in. Clive says a gun buried with Cory matches an unsolved murder from the previous year, Popeye Collier. Popeye was going to testify against Mr. Boss. A man, Tyrell Johnson, was found over his body covered in blood, who they think is a hit man for Mr. Boss.
Clive and Liv go to Tyrell’s home. They ask him if he knows Cory. He says if they want to talk, he’ll need a lawyer. Mr. Boss hears about their visit and asks for Drake to take care of it.
Drake is at Liv’s apartment. She asks him to be careful working for Blaine because he’s taking on Mr. Boss. Major knocks on the door and tells Liv she should move because Blaine threatened her. Liv says he also knows where she works. Major hears Drake moving in Liv’s bedroom, but she says it’s her brother.
Drake tells Liv a lie about why he’s been called into work. She asks him to dinner the next night.
Liv has a vision that Cory saw Tyrell over Popeye’s body. She thinks Tyrell killed Cory to keep him from testifying.
When Tyrell wakes up in the morning, Drake is waiting for him. Tyrell throws coffee on him and they fight. Later, Liv and Clive arrive. Liv finds the coffee on the wall, but Clive finds evidence that Tyrell left for Mexico.
Chief and Major carry in Blaine’s frozen father. An unruly customer that threatened Blaine shows up at the funeral home. Blaine tricks him and Major injects him. The man was on his list of zombies.
Drake doesn’t show up for dinner. He shows up in Liv’s bedroom around midnight. She has a vision of him being shot by Cory. Cory killed the two drug dealers whose bodies Ravi’s been trying to find. Don E then shot Cory. Liv confronts Drake about being an accessory to the murder she’s investigating.
Bozzio brings a surveillance photo to Clive that shows Blaine with Major.
Drake is supposed to bring Liv to the dead dealer, Vick’s, house to see if she gets a vision, but he doesn’t show. She knocks on the door anyway, pretending to be a reporter. Vick’s mother shows her a picture of Vick and Lonnie, giving Liv a vision of them being killed by Cory. She sees where they are buried and calls Ravi. Ravi tells Liv that New Hope died, meaning Blaine and Major are living on borrowed time.
Blaine’s father wakes. Blaine yells at him about giving his abuser $100,000,000. He tells him that he’s going to make a new video will. He refuses, but Blaine leaves him with his assistants, whom his father had previously tortured.
Liv helps Ravi and Major find the burial site. They find Vick’s body.
