Jane Lynch’s return to television might be short-lived. Her CBS show Angel From Hell has been pulled from the eye network’s schedule.

The move is effective immediately. According to Variety’s sources, CBS also has no plans to air the final five episodes.

CBS will air a repeat of The Big Bang Theory on Feb. 11 in Angel From Hell’s 9:30 p.m. slot. Starting on Feb. 18, episodes of 2 Broke Girls will air instead.

Angel From Hell starred the former Glee actress as a woman who considered herself a guardian angel to Allison, played by Maggie Lawson. The show failed with critics and is noticeably different from every other CBS sitcom because it was single-cam and had no laugh track.

However, the show actually did pretty well in the ratings, compared to sitcoms on other networks. It averaged 9 million viewers and a 1.9 18-49 rating, which are numbers even The Muppets would love to see. Unfortunately, the numbers weren’t good enough to keep it alive on CBS.
