Jared Padalecki returning for Netflix ‘Gilmore Girls’ revival

Another familiar face is returning for the Netflix Gossip Girls revival. Jared Padalecki will be back.

Netflix announced the news on Twitter, confirming that Padalecki will be back to play Dean Forester. David Sutcliffe, who played Christopher Hayden, is also coming back.

Series stars Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel will both be back for the four-episode revival. Other actors returning to Stars Hollow are Liza Weil, Sean Gunn, Milo Ventimiglia, Yanic Truesdale, Matt Czuchry, Kelly Bishop and Keiko Agena. Creator Amy Sherman-Palladino is back as well.

Sutton Foster, who stars in Younger, will be joining the cast.

Gilmore Girls ran from 2000 to 2007. Since the show ended, Padalecki has starred in Supernatural and the 2009 Friday The 13th.
