Estranged couple Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck attended the same Oscars after party on Sunday, Feb. 28, mingling separately with friends.
They both attended the Vanity Fair party and Garner mostly spoke with friends like Victor Garber and J.J. Abrams. According to People, they were seen briefly greeting each other with a hug and kiss.
“They had a nice moment where they caught up and a lot of their friends were there – and they chatted and then they left," said the onlooker.
Their interaction comes just a few days after Garner’s revealing Vanity Fair interview was published, during which she addressed cheating rumors and called him the “love of my life.”
“We had been separated for months before I ever heard about the nanny,” she said. “She had nothing to do with our decision to divorce. She was not a part of the equation. Bad judgment? Yes. It’s not great for your kids for [a nanny] to disappear from their lives.”
