Josh Hutcherson, Eliza Coupe to star in Seth Rogen Hulu pilot ‘Future Man’

The Hunger Games star Josh Hutcherson will star in a pilot for Hulu that pairs him with Happy Endings’ Eliza Coupe.

Future Man is executive produced by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg. Hutcherson will star as janitor Josh, who is super talented with video games, notes TVLine. Coupe will play video game character Tiger, who recruits Josh after seeing his impressive skills and wants him to help her and her partner stop human extinction.

Future Man is a Sony Pictures TV production and written by Kyle Unter and Ariel Shaffir.

As Entertainment Weekly notes, Coupe has most recently appeared on Hulu’s original series Casual and had a role in ABC’s Quantico. She starred in the cult sitcom Happy Endings, which ran from 2011-2013.

Hutcherson played Peeta in The Hunger Games movies and will next be seen in the James Franco movies The Disaster Artist and In Dubious Battle.
