Kris Jenner was asked about her son-in-law Kanye West’s recent Twitter rants while on The Ellen DeGeneres Show this week, and she mostly used the explanation that he’s often misunderstood while defending him.
Jenner tried to explain West’s claims that he’s $53 million in debt and also joked about enforcing a rule that he can’t tweet on certain days.
“What he was trying to say was that's what he's done to spend on his clothing line over the last 15 or 20 years, you know, whatever it's been," she said of his debt claims. "But it comes out not exactly the right way, and people get it misconstrued through the media and ... it's complicated, what can I say."
When DeGeneres asked if she ever wants to tell him to stop tweeting, Jenner joked there should be a “no tweeting law” on some days and if West breaks it she will “ground him.”
Of course, Jenner also defended her son-in-law by saying he’s a “great guy, he really is." Last week, Kim Kardashian defended her husband’s Twitter rants, saying he’s just misjudged.
“People don’t get that Kanye will stand up against the whole world for his creativity and art,” she wrote on her website.
