Lee Majors is joining the second season of Ash vs. Evil Dead.

According to a press release from Starz, the legendary Six Million Dollar Man actor has joined the horror-comedy series, where he will play Ash's father, Brock Williams. This is a character that has never been seen or mentioned throughout the three Evil Dead movies or during the first season of the TV series.

Majors began his acting career in 1964, and he's known for his roles on The Big Valley, The Six Million Dollar Man and The Fall Guy. He has remained a prolific actor over the years, starring in Do You Believe? in 2015.

Also joining the second season is Sam Raimi's brother Ted Raimi, who will play Chet Kaminski, Ash's best friend from childhood. Raimi had small parts in all three Evil Dead films, and he also played Joxer the Mighty on Xena: Warrior Princess.

Ash vs. Evil Dead picks up 30 years after the original trilogy left off, following a much older but still just as immature Ash Williams (Bruce Campbell) as he must once again save the world from deadites. Starz had enough confidence in the horror show to renew it for a second season before the pilot episode even aired, as we previously reported. Season 2 will consist of 10 half-hour episodes and will debut later this year.
