The 2016 Oscars shaped up to be an exciting show last night and now it has even overtaken the most tweeted moment from the 2014 award’s show when host Ellen DeGeneres tweeted the famous selfie.

As previously reported, during the 2014 Oscars, DeGeneres took a selfie with some A-list celebrities, causing Twitter to literally crash the moment it happened.

Now, another moment has generated more tweets that broke the selfie record and it came courtesy of Leonardo DiCaprio’s long-awaited Oscar win.

According to E! News, when DiCaprio was named best actor for his role in The Revenant, there were over 440,000 tweets per minute after last year’s best actress winner, Julianne Moore, read the results.

During his acceptance speech, DiCaprio spoke as everyone gave him a standing ovation, saying, “Thank you all so very much. Thank you to the Academy, thank you to all of you in this room.”

His winning moment dethroned the selfie by over 200,000 tweets. The 2014 selfie brought on 255,000 tweets per minute.

DeGeneres tweeted to DiCaprio after his win, telling the star “I love you.”
