On this week’s The Muppets, Kermit and Piggy pretend they’re still dating to make nephew Robin feel secure.

Kermit informs Zoot that Robin’s parents split up this year and Kermit wants to show him a good time.

Scooter and Robin visit Kermit’s office. Robin tells Kermit he can’t wait to hang out with him and Piggy. Kermit tries to tell Robin that they broke up, but before he can do that, Robin says them being together was the only thing that got him through the last year.

Piggy greets Robin, and Kermit whisks her from the room to discuss lying to Robin in order to make him feel better. Piggy agrees to help, but asks if it will make Kermit’s girlfriend jealous. He tells her they broke up.

Rizzo and Pepe are upset because Camilla moved in with them. Gonzo stays home with her instead of going out with them.

Kermit asks the gang to act like he and Piggy are still together. Scooter says he can’t lie, so Kermit tells him that he and Piggy really are back together. Kermit tells everyone else to stay away from Robin if they can’t lie. Robin comes in and everyone leaves.

When Kermit and Robin leave work, they decide to play laser tag. Robin invites Sweetums, Fozzie, Scooter and Piggy to come along with them. Piggy loves the release, even shooting a kid who idolizes her. Scooter says he’s glad Kermit and Piggy are back together. Robin overhears him, so they shoot Scooter out. He points out the news crew that saw his tweets that they were dating again. Piggy and Kermit hide.

Pepe and Rizzo decide they need a new wingman. They bring Big Mean Carl, Sam and Chip out to the bar and tell them whoever gets the neighboring table of three women to join them will be their new wingman. One of the women is Lara Spencer, who has been flirting with Pepe through tweets. The new guys seemingly screw everything up and Pepe gets drunk.

Piggy and Kermit come out of hiding. The news crew finds them and asks if they’re back together. They tell them it was a misunderstanding. Robin hears and runs off.

Kermit apologizes to Robin for lying. Robin says he doesn’t like that things are changing. Kermit reassures him that he and Piggy are still friends, and Piggy says she’ll always be Robin’s “Aunt Miss Piggy.”

Camilla tells Gonzo to go out with the guys. Lara and the girls leave with Pepe and Rizzo’s potential wingmen. Gonzo shows up and says Camilla can set them up with some of her cute friends. They don’t want chickens and tell Gonzo to make it a guys’ night.

Kermit and Piggy take Robin out for milkshakes. They discuss why people think they belong together. Kermit tries to take a sip of his milkshake, but Piggy leans in at the same time.

Camilla is with her two sexy human girlfriends, who are upset Rizzo and Pepe aren’t coming over. They have a pillow fight instead, then discover they’ve blown off Camilla’s feathers.
