Despite going through one of the most expensive celebrity divorces ever, Phil Collins and his third ex-wife, Orianne Cevey, are getting married again.
In an interview with SonntagsBlick, Cevey, 43, said that in the past year, she realized Collins really was the man for her. In fact, she already considers him her husband again.
“We are so close that it actually makes no difference whether we are married. But we are determined to get married one day a second time,” she said, reports Entertainment Tonight.
“Love was never completely gone,” she continued. “[It] was just on another level. We've known each other for 22 years, 15 we were a couple. Now we feel both the same thing: We should never diverge. The separation was a wrong decision.”
Cevey and Collins, 65, were married for nine years before they divorced in 2008. The split is still among the most expensive celebrity divorces ever, with Collins paying her $46.76 million. The two are parents to Nicholas, 14, and Matthew, 11.
The couple are planning on having a much smaller wedding this time. When they married in 1999, the couple had an expensive party in Lausanne, Switzerland.
Collins has been much more in the public eye as of late, after announcing plans to record again and release a memoir this year. The singer has three children from his first two marriages, including actress Lily Collins.
