Rick Santorum is expected to announce that he will drop out of the presidential race today.

Two sources told CNN that the former Pennsylvania senator plans on dropping out today and endorsing a candidate. Fox News’ Greta Van Susteren then tweeted that Santorum will be on her show at 7 p.m. to make two announcements.

Santorum is the second Republican candidate to drop out today. Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul also announced this morning that he has ended his campaign.

Santorum won the Iowa caucuses in 2012 and earned the second-most delegates of the race, coming in behind nominee Mitt Romney. However, his 2016 campaign was met with little success and he barely registered in polling. According to CBS News, he only earned 1 percent of the vote during this year’s Iowa caucuses on Feb. 1. He did not earn any delegates.

Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee also dropped out of the race after a weak showing in Iowa.
