Sarah Palin’s interview with Matt Lauer and Savannah Guthrie on the Today Show took a left turn when Guthrie asked the former Alaskan governor about the recent arrest of her son, Track.
Palin was on the show to talk about the Iowa caucus and her support for GOP presidential hopeful Donald Trump. However, the conversation shifted to Track’s arrest last month.
After the issue of Track's PTSD came up, she scolded the anchors for bringing up a subject she claimed she was “promised” was off-limits.
"You guys brought me here to talk about Iowa politics and the caucus tonight, not to talk about my kids," she said. "And that was a promise. But as things go in the world of media, you guys don't always keep your promises evidently.”
Lauer replied with, "There were no specific promises made about content of the interview only that this would be your first interview since you endorsed Donald Trump."
