In his piece of art with artists Nastja Sade Ronkko and Luke Turner, Shia LaBeouf is spending an entire day in an elevator and live-streaming the entire event.
“#Elevate” is already over seven hours in as of this writing. The trio began at 8 p.m. local time at Oxford Union in the U.K. and are urging anyone who steps into the elevator to talk with them.
“Visitors will be able to join LaBeouf, Rönkkö & Turner inside the elevator during this time, and are invited to address the artists, the debating chamber and the internet, so that their collective voices may form an extended, expansive and egalitarian Oxford Union address,” the statement from Oxford Union reads.
The streaming event is the latest from LaBeouf, Ronkko and Turner. In November, there was #ALLMYMOVIES, in which they livestreamed the actor re-watching all of his movies in a New York theater. As Sky News notes, they also had #TOUCHMYSOUL in Liverpool, where LaBeouf took calls from the public over four days.
