Three well-known and influential black women in Hollywood will be honored at the ninth annual Essence Black Women in Hollywood Awards.

Black-ish star Tracee Ellis Ross; actress, producer and dancer Debbie Allen; and entertainment attorney Nina Shaw will all be recognized at the awards show this year. Ross will receive the Fierce & Fearless Award, Allen will be honored with the Legend Award and Shaw will receive the Lincoln Power Award, according to EURWeb.

The ceremony will be broadcast on OWN for the second year in a row. Its theme this year is "The Power of our Presence."

“We are honored to partner with ESSENCE for the second year in a row to bring this intimate and powerful event to television, recognizing these trailblazing women," OWN president Sheri Salata said.

The ceremony will also feature appearances from Shonda Rhimes, Zendaya, Nick Cannon and Oprah Winfrey with a performance by R&B singer Leon Bridges. The OWN broadcast of the show will also feature backstage footage, celebrity reflections and red carpet interviews, according to OWN's website.

The ceremony will air on Saturday Feb. 27 at 10 p.m. ET.
