The Washington Wizards acquired forward Markieff Morris in a trade with the Phoenix Suns on Feb. 18.

According to Yahoo Sports, the Suns will get forward DeJuan Blair and Kris Humphries and a protected future first-round pick from the Wizards. Morris had been asking the Suns for a trade since July, when his brother Marcus Morris was traded to the Detroit Pistons.

Humphries is under contract for $4.6 million next season. Blair has a $2 million team option for next season, and he could be waived by the Suns immediately.

"I had a couple great years in Phoenix, man," Morris said, USA Today notes. "Just ready to move on. My time here was great and I thank the organization for giving me a chance to play here and drafting me. I'm just ready for this new environment in Washington."

Morris signed a four-year, $32 million contract extension in Sept. 2014. He has $24 million remaining on his contract. He is averaging 11.6 points and 5.2 rebounds this season, according to ESPN. Morris has averaged 11.4 points and 5.4 rebounds in his career. Humphries is averaging 6.4 points and 4.1 rebounds this season. Blair is averaging 2.1 points and two rebounds this season.

The Suns are 14-40, which is the second-worst record in the Western Conference. The Wizards are 23-28 and are in 10th place in the Eastern Conference.
