Aaron Carter is speaking out about the death threats he has received after publicly tweeting his support for Donald Trump.

As we reported, the 28-year-old caused a firestorm on Feb. 28 when he endorsed the Republican frontrunner by responding to Trump’s tweet about self-funding his campaign.

In an upcoming episode of Oprah Winfrey’s Where Are They Now? Carter said that despite the backlash, which has included people telling him they want to “shoot” and “stab” him, he is sticking to his political beliefs.

“I’ve had fans send me death threats, tell me people were going to shoot me, stab me with needles at my show,” he revealed. “You know, that they were coming to get me, you know, all over me [for] saying I’d vote for Donald Trump.”

Carter is one of several other celebrities who have voiced their support for Trump, as well. Some of them include Charlie Sheen, Dennis Rodman, Hulk Hogan, Stephen Baldwin, Kid Rock and Azealia Banks.
