Billy Dee Williams, who played the coolest character in the Star Wars movies not named Han Solo, has joined the cast of ABC’s Dirty Dancing remake.

Williams will star as Tito, the charismatic bandleader of the resort where the movie takes place, reports Deadline. Charles Coles played the role in the original film.

The cast for Dirty Dancing has been building over the past week. Nicole Scherzinger and Modern Family’s Sarah Hyland were the latest to join.

Abigail Breslin is starring as Baby, Colt Prattes will play Johnny and Debra Messing is Baby’s mother. Wayne Blair (The Sapphires) is directing.

Williams is an Emmy nominated actor for his role in 1972’s Brian’s Song and is known to many for his role as Lando Calrissian in Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. He has reprised the role recently for Star Wars Rebels, Lego Star Wars: Droid Tales and The LEGO Movie.

Williams has also had roles on Glee and NCIS.
