Unknown time. Unknown place

The Gang is continuing their story of confession to a higher power. They quickly recap the fact they are on a Christian cruise and all battling to fight the urge of their usual vices.

We rejoin The Gang panicking over the sirens before they quickly stop. Mac continues to claim that life has no meaning since his coming out and Frank tries to reassure everyone that they will be in The Bahamas in no time. The Gang then soon has one of their usual debates … this time about how a ship’s engine sounds. This kills about four hours' worth of time and they continue to occupy themselves by doing impressions.

They are still trapped and Mac is adapting to his new lifestyle and proposes they have an “imaginary meal.” Mac tries to create a menu and tells them all to imagine food and drinks. This obviously turns into everyone imagining whatever they want and ultimately Mac raging and destroying his own imaginary meal. Dennis proposes that they should all just be quiet and not talk to each other.

They sit in silence together and each make unique noises that quickly turn into them making music. It lasts for a few moments before Mac comments, “That was lame!” Charlie finds a flare gun and is slowly starting to lose it when the lights flicker and the ship takes a violent turn. The lights continue flickering and the boat tips over on its side. They have the idea of forming a human pyramid so Dee can reach the door.

Charlie has a theory: that they are already dead and either in Hell or in purgatory awaiting their judgment. He tests this theory by shooting himself in the head with the flare gun. We quickly find out that they aren’t dead. The ship is sinking fast and Dee starts what will be a series of confessions about each other.

We find out that Mac is secretly a Cowboys fan with a Tony Romo jersey, Charlie tampers with Frank’s glasses prescription to keep him dependent on him and Dennis ripped up letters that Mac’s father wrote to him from prison.

Mac seems upset and Dennis almost fools everyone with his “emotions.” Dennis then suggests they just enjoy their last moments together, however long that may be.

Ten Minutes Later:

The room is nearly full of water. The Gang stays true in their usual debates to the bitter end. They all say their final words to each other and Mac offers one last prayer for a miracle. Frank leads the way for each of them to individually descend into the water. They all join hands to the end, but then notice a bright light shining from above. They fight and claw against each other to be the first one through.

We join them in their white robes, concluding the story. They lived through the ship sinking and are talking with an insurance adjuster. He is collecting their reports and they could have received a payout if they hadn’t admitted to breaking several laws. The final moments show Mac wants it noted in the report that since God answered his prayers he does exist and that Mac is not gay.
