We now know when Simon Cowell will be returning to our television screens. NBC has set the premiere date for America’s Got Talent, as well as its other popular summer show, American Ninja Warrior.

AGT’s 11th season will kick off on Tuesday, May 10 at 8 p.m. Cowell, who created the Got Talent format in the first place, is joining to replace Howard Stern. Howie Mandel, Mel B and Heidi Klum are all expected to return.

Since Stern is no longer involved, the show will be based in Los Angeles once again.

The 10th season of AGT averaged 12.5 million viewers and a 2.9 rating in the 18-49 demographic during last summer, NBC said.

American Ninja Warrior will begin on Wednesday, June 1 with a two-hour episode starting at 8 p.m. The obstacle course show will be hosted by Matt Iseman, Akbar Gbaja-Biamila and Kristine Leahy. The show’s previous season averaged 7.1 million viewers and was its most-watched season so far.
