Ariana Grande, who is set to host Saturday Night Live on March 12, shot promos with SNL cast member Taran Killam that proved she has the comedic ability and thick skin for the job.
The promo videos, as they commonly do, took the opportunity to poke fun at the week's host--in this case, Grande. The promo collection started by joking about Grande's last name and Starbucks drink size and only took off from there.
Grande and Killam then joked about Grande's house being a cloud, playing off of her bubblegum, daydream-like image, and also joked about her tiny, petite figure.
The final and most serious joke revolved around Grande's weakness when it comes to enunciating her lyrics in songs. Killam mentioned that he loves Grande's song "Problem" and proceeded to butcher the lyrics, calling it "Prom Production" and making up his own rendition of the lyrics.
"I don't blame you. Enunciation isn't my forte. But it actually is the title. It's 'one less problem without you,'" Grande says, continuing with, "That's not it for sure... Not even remotely close... You're not even in the vicinity."
