Jennifer Garner recently told all about her split from her husband of a decade, Ben Affleck, in a revealing Vanity Fair interview. Affleck is now breaking his silence about it.
In the wide-ranging interview, Garner gushed about Affleck and denied the nannygate scandal, which suggested he had an affair with their kids’ nanny.
The Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice star told New York Times that he didn’t want to discuss the end of their marriage because of their three children, Violet, Seraphina and Samuel, and also “because it ends up being in the record somewhere, in the great miasma of junk on the Internet.”
Despite his reluctance, he did say, “Jen’s great. She’s a great person. We’re on great terms. I just saw her this morning, so that’s the reality that I live in.”
Affleck went on to say that his estranged wife wanted to conduct the interview so that it was acknowledged publicly and didn’t have to be discussed again. “She felt like she wanted to discuss it and get it out there and get it over with, so she could say, ‘Look, I already talked about it — I don’t want to do it again,’” he said.
