Those who watch Caitlyn Jenner’s E! docu-series I Am Cait know that she hasn’t changed her political views since transitioning and remains a conservative Republican. In a recent episode, she debated with her trans friends like Candis Cayne and Jenny Boylan about the election and made her feelings on Hillary Clinton very clear.
Jenner talked about her opposition to Clinton on the show and although she didn’t give a full endorsement of Donald Trump, she did say he would be “very good for women's issues.”
This infuriated the other transgender women, who are supporters of Clinton and her advocacy for women’s rights.
“I would never, ever, ever vote for Hillary,” Jenner said. “We're done. If Hillary becomes president, the country is over.” She also called her a “political hack.”
However, on March 14, Jenner posted a photo with Clinton and wrote as the caption, “#learningfrommygirls #willingtolisten.” Jenner has previously said that being transgender pales in comparison to the "flak" she gets for being Republican.
