Just nine months after news broke that Ben Affleck and wife Jennifer Garner were divorcing after 10 years of marriage, Ben’s little brother, Casey Affleck, is also splitting from his wife of almost 10 years.
A rep for the actor told E! News that Affleck and Summer Phoenix, who is the younger sister of Joaquin Phoenix, have split up.
"Casey Affleck and Summer Phoenix have amicably separated," the rep said. "They remain very close friends."
After being introduced by Phoenix’s big brother, the couple hit it off and began dating in 2000. Six years later they were married and in 2004, they welcomed their first son Indiana. They also had another son named Atticus, in 2008.
The pair has not been seen in public together since 2014.
Many are scratching their heads and drawing comparisons to Affleck’s older brother who announced in a joint statement with Garner last June that their marriage was over . The siblings were each married to their significant others for about a decade.
